The Blemished Rose is a project by Paola Borella, a poet, teacher and musician based in Shanghai, China. This website was inspired by the book The Blemished Rose which documents her realization, confrontation, and ultimately, her recovery from childhood sexual abuse. The purpose of this website is to provide hope, encouragement, and support for survivors of sexual abuse, incest, and rape.
